The Power of Restraint
Message from Ascended Master Saint Germain
We are composite beings with a physical body, emotional body, mental body, a soul and a mighty I AM Presence within (our God Self).
Being a composite being means that we are often subject to conflicting emotions, thoughts and agendas within. Our physical self, for example, might be thirsty for a cool drink of water while the emotional self wishes to drown itself in beer.
So the conflict begins.
The mental self might be more for a mix of beer and water to minimize the damage while the soul and spirit are aligned with the body and ready for water.
We feel these conflicts within us every day and we wind up making choices. This is where we come across the Law of Free Will. Ultimately, a choice must be made and the Law of Free Will is simply a way of saying, "Honor the choices of Self and others."
Since we are composite beings, it makes sense to note that our choices are not always consistent from the viewpoint of others. Sometimes the emotional body is making the choice and sometimes the Spirit makes the choice in a similar situation. This looks like inconsistency. It is, in fact, very normal. This also brings up another Universal Law called the Law of Acceptance. In other words, we can't really judge another because of our choices. We Accept that we are divinely created beings and that we will make choices in accordance to the situation that our composite selves finds ourselves in.
Which bring us to the real topic of this conversation - Some decisions that we make are damaging to our selves. Some decisions that we make are damaging to others.
Have you had any decisions that you have regretted because that decision damaged Self or others?
Would you like a practical tool that can help you to tame the conflict within and bring more harmony between the different components of Self?
If so then I bring to you a practical tool called Restraint.
This tool, Restraint, is not popular because it often means stopping the impulses of the physical, emotional and mental bodies, the three components of Self most likely to lead you into decisions that you may regret.
However, Restraint allows for you time to make a decision that is for the Highest Good For All. What does this mean? Decisions made for the Highest Good for All are decisions that do not harm others.
If you wish to not harm others then use Restraint as a way to avoid spur of the moment decisions that could be spring from impulses of the physical, emotional or mental bodies. Not all, but many times, these impulses harm either yourself or others in some way.
If you wish to not harm others then use the tool of Restraint in the following way:
1) When making decisions don't make the decision on the spot. The exceptions, of course, are emergency decisions involving saving self and others from immediate danger.
2) find a quiet place and simply ask yourself mentally, "Is this decision that I feel that I want for the Highest Good For All." If you feel or here that Still Small Voice Within say, "No." or "Yes" then you have received tour answer.
3) Finally, have the courage and faith to stick with decisions that are for for the Highest Good of All. Sometimes, what is for the Highest Good of All requires you to decline participating in what looks like a fun time. This is where Restraint becomes a powerful tool that allows you to say "No." to others when you have heard "No." from your Inner Guidance which is the God within you or Holy Spirit.
Be aware that the universe wants you to enjoy life! For every opportunity that you say No to other opportunities will present themselves for review.
I AM Saint Germain and I wish you a full life!
Striving Can Lead to Delusion.
Message from Ascended Master St. Germain.
In every endeavor, our egos like to take control and start planning ever more outrageous goals to the point where we become discouraged at the scale of our ego's grandiose plans. We eventually give up and not start.
Ironically, the striving of the ego produces the opposite effect - we tend to sit on the sidelines watching the world go by because our plans are simply unexecutable. Those who are humble, those who start with a simple plan, are the ones that, overtime, build one simple success after another to the point where they accomplish grandiose outcomes.
So how do they accomplish this? They abandon striving and keep their plans simple and doable for right now.
For example, your Divine Purpose may be to sell crystals to healers. Your ego, in it's desire for infamy and riches, strives for a plan that includes a physical store in a trendy location. The ego's plan is so unreachable given what is available here and now, that you abandon your plans and consider the plan unworkable.
If you were to tell your ego that, "I AM in charge of planning," and then abandon the ego's striving, you will quickly make more humble and modest plans of buying small lots of crystals and then selling them on a website. This humble beginning will then grow in accordance with your Divine Purpose.
With the ego out of the driver's seat, your I AM presence will provide practical advice that will lead to results that will gladden your Heart.
Allow Life to Happen.
Message from Ascended Master Saint Germain.
Many times life can seem fearful. Many times we wish we could just run away from it and retreat to a nice quiet place. And retreats do serve a purpose. They allow us to meditate upon our existence far from the grind of every day duties and responsibilities. They allow us to take stock and to plan changes.
When we retreat into diversions designed to keep us from examining what is happening around us then we retreat from Life.
When we avoid having the conversation with another that we know will provides benefits to both because we feel uncomfortable then we retreat from Life.
When we acquiesce to someone either intentionally or accidentally crossing our boundaries then we are retreating from Life.
When we decline to participate in activities, we retreat from Life.
The practical advice for today is to allow Life to happen by participating in those uncomfortable conversations and joining those activities. You will most often find that you receive in those situations much more than you give.
Grab onto Life and enjoy it!
